18 month engine-out mechanical restoration by Stefan Quaiser in Frankfurt completed September this year at a cost of £40k+. All invoices and custom photobook of the work are present.
Stefan is the 'go to' 6. 9 man and leading HPF suspension specialist in Germany. He went through the entire car and replaced and renewed whatever necessary, from the engine out right down to a restored original Becker Mexico stereo.
She has obviously led an extremely sheltered life having covered only 81800 miles in her nearly 40 years and is full of little tell-tale signs that confirm she's a true 'survivor'. Amazingly for one of these the only corrosion we could find in the entire car was at the very ends of the sills which was also taken care of to the highest possible standard in Germany.
All Mercedes books/ folders etc present.

Would cost in the region of £75K to build another like this - if you can find an excellent example to start with that is! I know of only two possibly three other RHD 6. 9s at this quality.
