History of this car
This tipo 818. 360 Fulvia Coupe is an Italian delivered car registered new in Rome on 10. 6. 1969 and has lived in Roma until imported by us this year. According to the PRA report accompanying the car, it had only one owner from 1970 to 2017, with three owners in total, so this is virtually a one owner vehicle.
Mileage recorded today is 28000 miles (45000 klms) which is unwarranted but possibly genuine given the pristine condition of the glass and wear items inside the cabin, and the generally tight feel of the whole car.
The long term owner clearly cherished his Lancia and we are informed the car was supplied new with the gorgeous BWA magnesium alloy wheels it sports today, complimented by a Hellebore sports steering wheel, the exact same type as fitted new to the GTA Alfa Romeo.
Body
All alloy bonnet, boot and doors. Finished in the delivery colour of Lancia blue, arguably the most attractive shade for this model. The car has had one quality repaint and the finish is excellent, with no marks and arrow straight sides.
Panel fit is factory fresh and everything opens and shuts like a new car. Underneath the car all floors, front subframe and so on appear accident and rust free, with a thin protective factory chassis coating.
The glass, including the Carello headlights are undamaged, as is the fine stainless and alloy trim, and bumpers and grille are in equally good order, with minor pickling to the Matador wing mirror.
Mechanicals
The matching numbers engine in 93hp specification is quiet and powerful with factory oil pressure and is in perfect tune. The transmission shifts without issue and the whole car is a delight to drive.
The engine bay is nicely detailed and we have serviced this car including fitting new points, plugs and HT leads, as well as changing the oil and filters. All 5 tyres are recent Hankook radials with plenty of tread (spare unused).

Interior
Looks and smells just right. The dashboard is undamaged and the instrumentation crisp and fresh. The Hellebore steering wheel is a delight to use.
The headlining has been replaced in the correct material, the upholstery is the original cream vinyl with some patina and wear.
The original rubber floor matting is excellent and the car is supplied with protective black over carpets .
Two sets of original keys.
Boot
Excellent condition. The original rubber matting is undamaged, the spare wheel has the correct tie down and cover and the original Battaini jack and toolkit with bag are in place, including spare belts.
Summary
Opportunities to buy a virtually one owner Rallye S1 Fulvia as good as this car are very thin on the ground. In remarkable unrestored condition, this car is sure to please the most discerning Lancisti.
