From the very start the Ducati 999 was very successful in the Superbike World Championship, winning world trophy’s in 2003, 2004 & 2006. The 999 model superseded the Massimo Tamburini designed 916 range of Superbikes in 2003 and produced through to 2006. The 999 was designed by Pierre Terblanche and is known as a high performance, race oriented motorcycle with the famous Ducati V-Twin, featuring a linear power delivery with high power and torque, high spec suspension and trellis chassis, it’s known for being one of the finest handling bikes of its time – a future classic!
