The Arnolt MG was the result of American, Italian, and English collaboration. At the 1952 Turin Auto Show, Mr. Arnolt saw a special Bertone body and arranged to buy bodies to place on MG TD chassis and sell as complete cars. These Arnolt’s were available as convertibles (36 examples built) and coupés (67 examples built). The doors, hood, and engine lid were made of aluminum, and the body welded to the chassis rather than being bolted. The cars were generally fitted with the standard 1. 250 cc engines MG TF engine and only a few with a 1. 500 cc engine.
This beautiful MG is a four-seater Bertone bodied car based on a MG TD and is from 1953. It is fitted with a 1. 250 cc, 40 kw engine and has been well optioned with xpag engine (54 hp), heater, radio Blaupunkt, wire wheels, fresh air ventilation system, fog lamps gold and hinged windows in the back. It has been in long-term ownership and has been restored some years ago. In 2015 technical very well revised with original MG parts.
It is coming in a lovely color combination, painted in original color peacock blue from its exterior and beige seats interior.
This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire a beautiful example of this interesting car. This particular elegant example is in very well cosmetic and working condition, and is ready to be enjoyed with great pleasure. The car comes with lots of invoices and documentation.
