1962 Ford Fairlane 500 four-door Town Sedan with the factory upgrade optional 3. 6 liter 8-cylinder engine producing 145hp. The car has a 3-speed manual transmission. The car was produced in the USA on March 26, 1962 as an export model and was registered in Denmark on July 18, 1962. The car was restored in 2014 and maintain the factory correct Oxford blue with white top and blue interior, just as when it left the factory. The car is in great mechanic and cosmetic condition and the car starts, driver and stops without any problems. The car has a Danish title and registrations papers and Danish government inspections is good until 2019.

History of the 1962-1965 Ford Fairlane:
Ford transferred the Fairlane nameplate to its new "senior compact” line for 1962. The downsized Fairlane was 11. 7" shorter than regular Fords, but 16. 5" longer than the Falcon. A Ford six or new 221-cid OHV V8 powered the new cars. The mid-year Fairlane 500 (pillared) Sport Coupe came with buckets and console. A 260-cid V8 and four-speed manual transmission were optional.
A new Fairlane look appeared for 1965, as the car shared heavily sculpted sheet metal with that year's Mercury Comet. Rectangular tail lamps replaced formerly round units. The pleasingly styled 1962-65 Fairlane 500s are becoming more and more difficult to find.
