Descripción
This Austin Mini Cooper Mk1 was built in 1963, as a RHD home market model, with an Ash Green body, Old English White roof and green interior trim. It was brought to the Netherlands in the 1980's, where a restoration was started. Life happened, the owner's priorities changed and the car changed hands twice. It has been a basket case for at least 20 years, but looks to be mostly complete. The numbers on this car match those on the Heritage Certificate.
Most of the structural work on the body has been completed, although some (if not most) of the patch areas will need to be redone to raise the standard. The doors and boot lid still need to be welded. Overall, the body is solid and panels appear very straight.
The original 1000cc engine is dismantled, but complete. Pistons and crankshaft are frozen. The gearbox looks to be in fairly good shape, with no visual damage to the gears.
As far as we noticed, this car is missing the steering wheel, one headlight unit, bumpers and grille and the spare wheel. We took photos of all parts that are included with the sale. ID plate with commission number is included, but not pictured.
The Mini Cooper can be inspected on appointment in our shop in Sint Anthonis, the Netherlands. It comes with UK registration documents and a Heritage Certificate.
A rare opportunity to acquire a genuine Mini Cooper project at an affordable price.
Price: € 8. 800 (CAR IS CURRENTLY RESERVED)
