EQUIPMENT
15-inch alloy wheels, electric memory seats, air conditioning, power steering, electric windows, electric mirrors, sunroof, remote central locking, cassette/ radio, rear sunblind, tool kit.
EXTERIOR
The Black Metallic exterior paint is in wonderful condition for the age of the vehicle. The factory glass is present all around the vehicle with the Mercedes etchings on all of the windows. The car looks factory fresh and only minimal age related marks are present. Importantly for a Mercedes, there is no rust present. This is perhaps due to the vehicle being supplied new in Jersey and only being brought into the UK in 2008. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance.
INTERIOR
The Grey Striped Cloth is in exceptional condition throughout, with no wear to be found. The carpet, trim, switches are in beautiful condition. The seat bolsters are also completely unworn and are free from any scuffs or sagging. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. The interior is a real credit to these cars, with them being known as the last of the proper Mercedes.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This W124 is powered by the Mercedes-Benz 3. 0-litre straight-six unit, mated to the four-speed automatic gearbox. This results in a powerful drivetrain, being the 24 value model and this car is no exception. It performs perfectly and the car drives beautifully, without fault. Kick down works seamlessly when needed, making light work of the operation in hand. The engine bay is completely original and has a fresh appearance throughout.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 15-inch alloy wheels are in wonderful condition and are shod in a set of Goodyear tyres, all with good tread.
HISTORY
This W124 300E-24 was first registered in Jersey in 1992 and was first registered here in the UK in April 2008 and has a fully stamped service history. The car comes with the original service book that is all stamped up. There are various receipts and invoices that are present and it is clear that this car has therefore been maintained properly, and this is evident in person. This car is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
