It was owned 25 years from new until 2015 by a pilot who meticulously maintained and cared for the car, as proven by its amazing condition today and Full Mercedes-Benz Service History comprising of 28 stamps in the service book.
Supplied new on February 16th 1990 to Mr J Anker by Puttock of Guilford, this 230E automatic was finished in Pearl Blue metallic with contrasting Andor Blue lower half and grey cloth interior with Zebrano wood trim. Being used to the maintenance of aircraft, Mr Anker was a stickler for thorough maintenance of vehicles hence this car comes with the most incredible history you have ever seen. The service book contains 28 service stamps in total, 27 of those (1990 to 2015) are from the supplying dealer, Puttocks of Guildford, latterly Mercedes of Surrey. As you can imagine with just 31k miles on the clock now, there was often just a few hundred miles between each service. Noted in every entry in the book is the cost plus any additional parts required.
Supporting the service book is every single corresponding bill from Mercedes detailing the work carried out. As you might expect, there is every MoT certificate from new too.
