MGB ROADSTER, CHROME BUMPER, 1980.
Here we have a little jewel of a Roadster, whose previous owners have obviously pampered. The body work is finished in Tartan red, and has stood the test of time exceptionally well, with only a few age related marks as you would expect. Under the bonnet and boot, it is ultra clean, with no rust issues. The interior of the car, which we must say is very comfortable, has been re-upholstered in black leather, with matching door cards, and is in very good condition. The interior shows little wear, and with the Veneer wood dash board, and Moto-lita steering wheel, makes it a nice place to be.
Mechanically, this MGB is very good, she starts first time, and idles perfectly. She accelerates effortlessly, and sounds fantastic, thanks to her stainless steel exhaust. The 4 speed gear box is precise, and the overdrive works perfectly. The suspension has Spax adjustable, parabolic rear springs, and polyurethane bushes. The car has also had replacement brake calipers, discs and pads, and new clutch cylinders with stainless braded hoses. The MGB has also been modified to run on unleaded fuel, and has lumination electronic ignition, along with a Kenlowe fan. There is a folder full of history, including the car’s own heritage certificate, and many of the previous MOTs.
