A beautiful example, much improved by the current owner, and running beautifully, is certainly huge fun to drive, quicker than one might expect and quite raucous with the twin straight through exhausts. In recent times it has been re-wired, had an alternator, oil cooler and special battery fitted, has 4 very good tyres, and is certainly running beautifully enhanced by electronic ignition. The chassis is very sound and the fibreglass body work in good shape. This particular example has a lovely soft leather interior, and comes with a tonneau cover for unexpected showers. The 223 is so named because it has 2 cylinders, 2 seats and 3 wheels.
