1970 Ford Cortina 1600 E 99, 000 miles and presented in excellent condition , Finished in Ermine white with contrasting black interior . Very original with exception of being re carpeted with the correct carpet type . This is series 2 1600 E with instruments set in the dash panel rather than on top of the dash board . The supporting paper work states an engine and gearbox overhaul approximately 12, 000 miles ago . The Cross Flow 1600 cc motor starts easily with no smoke and performs without apparent fault , Good oil pressure is maintained and no overheating is noted . The gearbox is easy in operation , light and positive , Clutch no slip or judder , Said to have also been replaced c12, 000 miles ago . So a very genuine example .
