The 911 Turbo Targa carries Porsche’s unrivalled experience of turbocharging from the race track to the road. Outstanding acceleration, cornering and road holding, all reflect Porsche’s heritage. But it is the 911 Turbo’s qualities of endurance and reliability that determine its suitability for everyday use. Its high performance open-air motoring enabled by simply removing the ingenious folding Targa roof panel brings a unique classic car experience.
Performance is derived from its 3. 3 litre air-cooled turbocharged six-cylinder horizontally opposed rear mounted engine, with 300 bhp DIN at 5, 500 rpm, and maximum torque 430 Nm at 4, 800 rpm.
This is one of just 14 Porsche Turbo Targas that remain registered for use in the UK today. These special 911 Turbo Targas are viewed as iconic 1980’s supercars, and they continue to excite enthusiasts and collectors all over the world.
Our Porsche Turbo Targa was supplied by Cooper Exeter Ltd Porsche in August 1988, and comes with a carefully maintained history file, including previous V5 documents, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, handbook pack and invoices for works, historic MOTs and tax discs. This has recently benefitted from a full service, and a complete new hood. It will also be supplied with a comprehensive 12-month warranty.
