Vehicle History:
After The DB7 Prototype Was Completed In The November Of 1992, This All New Grand Tourer From Aston Martin Was Then Showcased To The World At The March 1993 Geneva Motor Show, With The Order Books Then Open For New Car Deliveries The Following September. The Dramatic Exterior Styling Came From The Perfect Partnership Between Ian Callum And Keith Helfet, With The Engineering To Be Completed By Oxfordshire Based Tom Walkinshaw Racing Under The Watchful Eyes Of The Aston Martin Factory, With The Total Package Of Sheer Elegance, Teamed With Super Car Capabilities, All Of Which Was Warmly Received By Eager Buyers And The Global Motoring Press. At The Birmingham Motor Show In 2002, After The Factory Bowed Down To Pressure From Their Enthusiastic Clients And The Worlds Motoring Press, They Gave Us The Limited Run Out Model GT, Which Was To Be The Last Hooray Before The DB7 Ended Production. Aston Martin Offered Two Variants Of This Highly Rare Final Edition, With The GT Having The Manual Transmission And The GTA, Which Came Equipped With The Touchtronic Automatic Transmission And Back In 2002, This Was To Be The Most Powerful Model That The Factory Had Ever Produced. Improvements To The Powertrain, Chassis, Brakes And Aerodynamics From Factory, Gave The GTA Immense Power Delivery, Inspirational Handling And All Enveloping Luxury, That All Provided Those Very Lucky Buyers With A Truly Rewarding And Unique Driving Experience. Production Of The GT And GTA Was Extremely Limited On Numbers, As Only A Total Of 302 GT & GTA Vehicles Would Be Made Worldwide, With The Split Being 190 Manuals To Just 112 GTA Automatic Cars, With At Least 81 Of These Cars To Be Made In The Left Hand Drive Configuration For The American Market. At Time Of Build The Undiscounted Eye Watering Price Ticket Was A Huge £167, 000. 00, But Still All Of The 302 Cars Found New Loving Homes In Recording Breaking Time And This May Have Be Down To The Staggering Performance Unleashed From The Six Litre V12 48 Value All Alloys Monster, Which Generated A Massive 435 Brake Horse Power And A Maximum Torque Of 410 lb. ft, Which Was More Than Capable Of Accelerating From 0-62MPH In Just 4. 8 Seconds And Would Further Climb To A Remarkable Top Speed Of 185 MPH. To Match This Extra Performance, The GTA Also Gained Unique And Signature Interior And Exterior Detailing, With Twenty Different Body Colours And Seventeen Shades Of Leather To Choose From, No GT Or GTA Was Ever The Same On Build, Which Gave Clients The Ultimate In Exclusivity.
This Now Rare Model Of The DB7 Brand Was First Supplied By Aston Martin Of Mayfair In The May Of 2003 And Over The Past Thirteen Years The Car Has Just Changed Hands The Four Times In Total, With The Very Last Acquiring The Vehicle In The February Of 2008, Which Is Definitely Viewed Within This Collectable World As Being Sensationally Low To Find.
