EXTERIOR
The Mugello blue paint work on this C5 is in exceptional order. It still appears fresh and bright having been kept clean and cherished by it’s current and only owner since new. The sides of the car are perfectly straight with no signs of any door dinks or car park dents. The car has been kept garaged for much of its life reflected in the cleanliness of the underside and inside the wheel arches.
The car sits lower in a more purposeful poise with it’s vented bumper and large flared wheel arches more than hinting that this is no regular estate car.
INTERIOR
The interior remains in excellent condition, with no wear to be found throughout, it presents and smells as new despite the mileage covered. The hi-tech interior provides a more secure adhesion then the full leather alternative and adds texture and depth to the cabin alongside the optional aluminium trim. The perforated leather steering wheel and gear handle are free from any rips or marks and again present as new.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The V8 bi turbo engine has been well looked after by Audi main dealers and specialist Audi garages. The car has had regular oil changes and ‘health checks’ vital to the efficiency and life of the engine and turbos of these specialist engines.
Twist the key and the engine sounds incredible with a deep and meaningful V8 burble without sounding loud or offensive. The 5-speed auto-box shifts smoothly and is perfect for long hauls; move the stick into semi-auto and the car transforms into a thorough driving pleasure with assistance of flappy paddles for convenience of gear changes.
The car rides on its standard DRC suspension which has been maintained and renewed regularly and sits in full working order.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
This C5 is fitted with standard 19-inch alloys finished in silver. They show in splendid condition and are all shod in a set of 255/ 35 Pirelli P-Zero’s which have covered minimal mileage since being replaced.
The front brakes feature fixed Brembo 8-pot monoblock brake calipers, that work effectively with radially vented brake discs; all discs have just been renewed. Both front and rear brake calipers are perfect and finished in a high-gloss black paint, with the fronts incorporating the “RS” logo. The rear pads were changed alongside the discs.
HISTORY FILE
This RS6 was delivered to its 1st and only private owner in 2004 by Docklands Audi. It has been meticulously cared for and driven very few miles for a 13 year old car performance estate car. The majority of its mileage cruising the auto routes in Europe.
The last service was carried out on the 14th of January 2016 at 35, 567 miles by Audi specialist 4 Rings Ltd and included a replacement cambelt and waterpump. The service book shows visits at the correct intervals with 4 services at the main dealer prior to visiting Audi specialists in 2016.
The history file contains all service invoices, owners manual, two sets of keys and an array of MOT certificates to verify the cars low mileage.
