One of only 42 SE models produced in 1988, which were available in four colours, Grand Prix white, Guards red, black and metallic silver. They were lavishly equipped with a five speed short shift manual gearbox, sport suspension, uprated camshaft, sports twin pipe exhaust, 16 inch sports magnesium cast light weight alloy wheels and a limited slip differential. As a result the Gran Turismo appeal was enhanced by developing its sporting character and an enhanced performance with a top speed of 173 mph and a 0-60 mph of 5. 3 seconds
