Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer what must be one of the lowest-mileage Mercedes-Benz SECs available in the UK.
Unbeatably prestigious, very expensive new, and also amazingly fast - that's the coupé version of Mercedes-Benz's S-class from the W126 series. It quickly became the luxury coupé of choice for successful businesspeople and media personalities and is undoubtedly one of the best-engineered cars of its era. Even by today's standards, performance and ride quality are simply superb.
The coupé was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor show in 1981, two years after the S class saloon had been presented. It was only available with V8 engines, initially as 380 SEC and 500 SEC.
Originally supplied to Captain M. K Allen (retired) and registered in October 1984, it has had just 2 former keepers, and has been serviced by Meridien Majestic Mercedes of Bournemouth and Headlands Garage of Salisbury for the majority if its life. It has been in long term ownership since June 1991. As you would expect, it is complete with the original data card, complete driver’s book pack, Daimler-Benz factory delivery note, spare keys. Historic MOT’s from 1991, and history file with invoices for works carried out.
Available to view now at our London showrooms.
