Midget:1340cc/ Heritage Body/ Front Line Suspension
The MG Midget Mk 3 was introduced in 1966, with a 1275 cc engine and was an immediate success. The hood mechanism was improved and minor facelift changes were made to the body trim including sills painted black, a revised recessed black grille, and squared off taillights as on the MGB.
At Milestones we have gained a reputation for sourcing and marketing exceptional cars and this is simply one that we could resist!

Mechanicals
· Rebuilt engine:
o Bored out to 1340cc, supercharged and fully balanced.
o Block chemically cleaned.

o JE dished Pistons (custom made), crank crack tested, engine rebuilt
o Swifttune fast road cam, roller rockers, ported head modified for unleaded petrol, new valves etc.
o Exhaust manifold treated to reduce engine heat under the bonnet.

The result is an absolute testament to the knowledge, skill and commitment of the owner. The supercharger linked to the low compression engine make this a very tractable car to drive yet – when asked - this car absolutely flies along the road with an addictive exhaust note and everything kept in place by the Frontline suspension
The last owner spent in excess of £25, 000 and over twenty years of his life to build the Midget of his dreams and one that MG/ British Leyland had neither the resources nor skill to build.
This is a unique opportunity to own a remarkable car…
