ROYAL PURPLE WITH BLACK INTERIOR
55, 000 MILES
Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this immaculately restored, home market 1972 Porsche 911T in iconic 1970’s royal purple. The 911T was first produced in 1970 and was the most useable and driveable car within the Porsche range. The car featured all new carburettors, instead of the fuel injection system that was fitted to other 911’s. This was a key factor that aided in creating a lovely and smooth power curve that was essential in improving the driveability of the car.
Despite being the standard car in the 911 range of the time, it featured various upgrades, part of other 911’s within the range such as uprated ventilated brake discs and the option to fit Fuchs alloys over the standard steel wheels. These performance upgrades that make the 911T a fantastic driving experience help to make the 911T great value for money when compared to its sister car, the 911S.
The car on offer today comes in a highly desirable and sought-after specification. Along with the stunning royal purple exterior, the optional Fuchs alloys are also installed on the car. Arguably the most wanted option fitted to this car is the optional 5-speed 915 gearbox instead of the standard 4-speed. This gearbox only aids in further enhancing the appeal and usability of the car. In 2015 the car underwent an extensive restoration that included the body shell being removed, dipped and repainted back in its original Royal Purple colour. Due to the car undergoing this extensive complete restoration, the car is presented in excellent condition and is surely one of the best examples available today. It comes with two extensive recent history files alongside a certificate of authenticity. The car is mechanically perfect and is surely an opportunity that cannot be missed.
The car is available for viewing at our London showroom.
