Highlights
- Richly patinated, highly original example
- Offered in full running and driving order
- Versatile tractor with three-point hydraulic linkage and power take-off
The Appeal
Ferruccio Lamborghini didn't make his money selling supercars.
In fact, he'd never have been in a position to create any of his wonderful sporting machines if he hadn't first been an excellent tractor manufacturer. Lamborghini Trattori continues to this day, a reminder of where it all started.
The 2R was one of Lamborghini's most successful models, proving a powerful and versatile tractor despite its relatively compact size. This 1962 example is remarkably original and suitably patinated as befits its considerable age. We'd be inclined to enjoy it exactly as-is, but it would also form an excellent starting point for an award-winning restoration. The vendor assures us it's in full working order and ready to go.
