As far as iconography goes, a Baja Bug is part of Volkswagen folklore. Built from a basic Beetle, the original Bajas were created to operate off-road, in open deserts, sand dunes and beaches.
Modified bugs have since become a huge part of the Volkswagen scene, with Baja evocations becoming very much a part of VW iconography.
This example has recently been created in the image of those original Bajas, built from a standard Beetle chassis but with several Baja-style modifications.
It’s in wonderful condition, fitted with a freshy rebuilt 1,300cc engine and ready to use and enjoy.
