The Appeal

Among the most desirable of the classic leaf-sprung Land Rovers, the Series IIA retains the charm of the original Wilks concept while incorporating some well-judged updates overseen by David Bache. Late examples underwent a further revision, moving the headlamps outboard to the front wings; something that would be continued for the Series III and subsequent coil-sprung models.

Here we have one of these late 'Maltese Cross' Series IIAs, resplendent in the fetching truck cab specification and boasting a fabulous patina of age. Having been garaged during the current ownership period and maintained in good condition, this Land Rover would be a great addition to any garage.
