The Appeal

The Datsun 240Z is one of the most iconic Japanese sports cars ever produced. With its elegant lines, responsive inline-six, and balanced rear-wheel-drive chassis, the 240Z put Japan firmly on the sports car map when it arrived in 1969.

Offered as a project car, this 1973 example is a matching-numbers example finished in white, powered by its 2.4-litre inline-six producing 151hp, driven through a four-speed manual gearbox. The previous owner began the restoration and got the engine running, and the vendor describes the remaining work as straightforward, but it is not yet ready to be driven regularly.
