The Appeal
The current keeper of this remarkably low mileage J60 Land Cruiser bought it for a planned trip from Morocco to Nairobi. There can’t be many 38 year old vehicles you’d consider for that arduous drive and none are better suited than Toyota’s virtually invincible truck.
The J60’s unburstable durability explains why so many have led a hard life and so few are like this 1988 survivor. With under 85,000 miles displayed its 4L 6cyl 2H diesel engine is barely run, which likely explains the high state of preservation.
