This E 220 has no doubt been enjoyed over the years, having spent a fair amount of time as part of a previous owner’s Mercedes collection. This Benz has seen rather minimal use over the years and is now believed to be a rather low mileage example, with just 67,400 shown on the clock.
It should be noted that throughout its time with the previous keeper, it is understood that the vehicle was involved in a collision to the front wing and door. As a result, the vehicle shows a Category D status but has undergone extensive repairs to fix the damage.
It is only due to lack of space that the vehicle now awaits a new home, where it will surely bring a great deal of enjoyment to the new owner.

This Mercedes shows off what is believed to be an original interior, other than the pictured Sony head unit. Despite the age of the vehicle, the interior still looks fantastic for its age, no doubt a testament to the legendary W124 build quality and care shown by owners.
Although the interior is certainly impressive, there are incredibly minor signs of age to note, such as incredibly minor signs of use on the front leather seats, discolouration/marks to the rear seat, and hairline scratches on the centre console trim. Should you opt to use the wind deflector during top-down drives, you will also notice a few small holes in the mesh. Otherwise, the cabin appears to be nearly fault-free, and could quite easily fool you of the vehicle’s age and mileage.
As the images will reflect, very few examples have been preserved quite as well as this, and the interior leaves very little to be further desired.

Very few vehicles have as iconic of a front-end as the W124. That bold grille and badge combination is perhaps one of the most iconic on the road, and perfectly suits the vehicle’s charming boxy styling. The cabriolet models are seldom seen in comparison to the saloon variants, ensuring this vehicle stands out on modern roads.
As mentioned above, the vehicle was previously involved in a collision, subsequently requiring bodywork and paint to remedy. As a result, the car’s exterior appears to be in excellent condition, showing off a fair amount of shine for its age. Looking around the vehicle, there are defects to note, including a few marks to the upper rear quarter panel near the aerial, a mark on the driver’s door, and possibly the expected minor front-end chips.
All 4 wheels do show marks and defects, but could very likely still retain their original finish given the low mileage of the car. Original finish or not, all 4 wheels also sport a very welcome set of new Pirelli Cinturato tyres, with plenty of tread for the new owner to enjoy.
