BMW created an instant classic when they launched their retro styled Z3 two-seater roadster in 1996. Solid build quality, secure handling and willing BMW engines made these cars great fun to drive with the soft top either up or down.
Part of a large private car collection for the last 5 years the car has had regular but light use over this time covering only a few hundred miles. Most of this time it has been kept garaged and its current overall condition certainly reflects this.
It received a very recent full service in September of this year and previous attention in May, when it had both front struts replaced, ABS sensors replaced, new rear coil springs, track rod ends and drop links replaced, a new oil sensor, and a new alternator and air-con belt.
In 2015 it had a completely new roof.
In recent weeks, to fully prepare the car for sale, the underneath has been fully renovated with several parts being changed and then being fully under-sealed.
The V5 is present showing five previous owners and there are numerous MOTs and receipts for repairs and servicing done by present and previous keepers.
The fabulous and rare Red full leather interior is immaculate and the car comes with a clear windbreak, which sits nicely behind the occupants to reduce wind buffeting. The aluminium door footplates have some light scratches, as do the plastic seat bases, but otherwise it is very hard to fault.

THE EXTERIOR
A few marks to the deep Metallic Cosmos Black paintwork have been professionally repainted and the paintwork looks fantastic, having also been treated to a machine buff, polish and full valet.
The recently replaced roof fits snugly and has no sign of any wear at all.
The alloy wheels look near perfect with no signs of any kerbing, and all have had recent tires.
All the lights and glass are nice and clear and the black bumpers have recently been resprayed to remove any light scratches and stone chips.
Most of the common problems that can affect the Z3, such as suspension, ABS sensors and track rod ends have been addressed and this one comes fully prepared and ready for its next owner.
This beautiful little classic Z3 Roadster has an awful lot going for it, it is in truly great condition inside, outside and even underneath, with recent work done to replace anything that wasn’t quite right and to ensure turn-key motoring.
It looks amazing with its Cosmos Metallic Black paintwork and gorgeous full red leather interior, perfectly fitting black hood and alloy wheels.
