• Electric seats are in excellent condition, with hardly any wear showing on the driver’s bolster 
• Door cards are in excellent order, with Poplar Designo Bordeaux trim pieces to match the centre console
• The dashboard is free from any noticeable scuffs or damage 
• The instruments are all reportedly working correctly 
• Odometer shows a reading of 60,083 miles
• No warning lights are present with the engine running
• Leather steering wheel with Tiptronic buttons is in good condition

• The paintwork on the SL55 AMG is a stunning colour which looks metallic purple in the sunlight. 
• There are some swirl marks in the paint, as often seen on dark-coloured cars, but these could be dramatically reduced with a detail and machine polish. 
• The bodywork is in excellent condition with no dings or dents 
• AMG styling package
• The panel gaps are equal and matching for the doors, bonnet and boot
• The roof operates correctly, going both up and down with the touch of a button
• Bi-Xenon headlights are in good condition, with no chips or cracks spotted
• Front and rear Parktronic system
• The rear lights are in good order with no damage
• 18” AMG alloy wheels are in excellent condition with no kerb damage or corrosion 
• The tyres have been replaced with a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport; these have only covered approximately 1,500 miles

THE MECHANICS

• 5.4 litre Supercharged V8
• Five-speed automatic gearbox 
• ABC Active Body Control suspension
• Suspension operates correctly and lowers as it should when put into sport mode
• The SL55 fires up without hesitation and sounds fantastic
• The vendor does report the car is kept on a trickle charger and may need a new starter battery as it goes flat after a couple of weeks without use
• No untoward noises were heard coming from the engine bay
• The car is reported to pull strongly through the gears, and the change is smooth either in automatic mode or when changed from the steering wheel buttons
• The huge AMG calipers and cross-drilled discs look in good order
• The vendor reports the brakes bring the car to a halt in a straight line with no juddering through the pedal
