THE APPEAL
Introduced to replace the XJS and using the first V8 engine since the Daimler 250, the XK was a hit, and the second generation even got an aluminium monocoque chassis. Sharing its platform with the Aston Martin DB7, the XK could be seen as a bargain super tourer. This one has been given a makeover by design house Grantley Design in the way of a new body kit, lights and a respray.
The current owner has looked after the car during their year of ownership, giving the car a little recommission and enjoying the driving pleasure from that supercharged V8 engine.

- Wheels in good condition with minimal, if any, marks or blemishes

SUMMARY
This Jaguar XKR is the vision of David Grantley Kennedy who under his business ‘Grantley Design’ reimagined the styling of the car that shared its platform with the Aston Martin DB7. The design tweaks resulted in widespread praise and intrigue from the Jaguar fan base. It has been said that this was a concept that Jaguar fans would have like to see Jaguar implement between the XK and the F-type. You can commission Grantley design to alter your XK through their website but this one was one of the first second generation models to be given the treatment.
It’s an interesting car with all the benefits of the fantastic XKR underneath a pretty, new body, there isn’t much to not like there. If you’re looking for the thrill of a supercharged V8 with looks that make you stand out, then this is a great opportunity.
