In this day and age, arguably no four-door executive saloon has any right to harbour a 4.2-litre supercharged V8 under the bonnet, but we’re so glad Jaguar did just that with the XF SV8.

- Exceedingly smart walnut veneers exhibiting no signs of deterioration
- All of the electrics work as they should and the switchgear is in nice shape
- Bowers & Wilkins sound system in good working order

- The carpeting is eminently presentable throughout, including the inside of the boot
- No UV damage evident on the top of the dashboard

- Subdued saloon styling does well to hide what’s under the bonnet
- Very presentable blue paintwork bears very few stone chips
- Really straight bodywork with good panel alignment and the doors shut nicely
- Slight scuff visible on the offside bumper
- Recently refurbished alloy wheels
- All of the brightwork retain a lustrous shine
- The light lenses present well and are not cloudy or scratched
- The glass appears in really good shape
- This Jaguar continues to look great and, with continued care, will be an exceedingly smart example for years to come
