The Appeal

The Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 was introduced as the UK-market counterpart to the iconic WRX, pairing its rally-bred all-wheel-drive chassis with a rorty turbocharged ‘boxer’ flat-four renowned for its unmistakable burble. Performance figures such as a 0-60mph time of 5.8 seconds remain brisk even by modern standards, but in the late 1990s they placed the Turbo 2000 firmly into contemporary M3 and NSX territory.

This example appears to have stood the test of time remarkably well, having reportedly been dry-stored by both the current and previous owners and driven sparingly from new.
