This absolutely immaculate Triumph Stag MKII Manual with Overdrive - Chassis No: LD/ 44273/ O and Engine No: LF/ 44341-HE is according to the Heritage Certificate a matching numbers car finished in its original colour scheme of British Racing Green. It was built on the 8th February 1977 and was sold new by Trinity Motors of Hinckley to a Dr J W Dunn of Solihull and first registered on 10th June 1977.
The car was purchased by the current owner in August 2007 and he completely restored it over a two year period between 2008/ 9 and works included a full body restoration, all new Leather interior including door trims, carpets, new Soft top, new Chrome wire wheels with Toyo Tyres, rechroming of all exterior chrome-work, lots of mechanical upgrades including overhauled Gearbox and Overdrive, new Clutch, rebuilt Differential, new hubs, new stainless exhaust and much more.
The Engine in this car is beautiful with no history of any overheating problems and the cylinder heads have never been off! The car runs at the correct temperature and has a uprated expansion tank, uprated Radiator and an electric Cooling Fan. It does not have a Hard top, but these are easily sourced if required.
It has only covered a genuine 46, 000 miles from new with an extensive service history including lots of photographs of the restoration, letters from owners, a huge file of invoices for all works carried out, MOT certificates, old tax discs and sales brochures/ manuals and an HPi check and National Mileage Register check.
This car really is magnificent throughout and really needs to be seen and driven.
