Morris Bullnose open top tourer- 1923
This Bullnose is absolutely charming and presents very well. Up there with some of the best. The 4 seat open top tourer is the variant of this splendid car to have. The mechanics are excellent and the car starts 1st time with no problem. The Dynastart has had a One Thousand pound rebuild . One of the few problematic issues well taken care of. The Morris is excellent underneath and the engine/ engine bay is very clean. The car drives very well and has been used for high days and shows/ events. The previous long term owner who was known to me was a true enthusiast . This gent has sadly passed away.
This quintessential English tourer is cosmetically superb and is full of period character. The original colour paint is excellent as is the fully retractable hood and clip out side screens.
The period features include; Luggage rack, Brass fire extinguisher, Lucas Brass horn with bakelite hornpush, badge bar with period badges, Brass firewall mounted grease gun, original two wheel warning badge, Brass dash mounted ashtray ( handy when the roof is down! )
As the 23 Bullnose has a tilt split front screen there is an original slide along wiper, of which i have never seen this accessory before.
The original wheels have all been refurbished and present like new, these are shod with period tyres that have not done many miles, this includes the side mount spare.
The Brass horn on the side is an original Lucas one and is mounted on the wooden tool box which houses an original jack.
The interior is all excellent with its Crocodile textured finish. Many period accessories on the dash really give this car character.
This open top tourer is very reliable and an ex show winner. Very useable vintage car of 96 years old. AMAZING !!
