UK Home Market car in its original colours of Healey Blue with Dark Blue interior. Built in September 1954, KFN 918 was supplied via Barrett’s of Canterbury.
Subject to a nut and bolt restoration in 2005 and upgraded to 100M specification including high compression pistons, the car was recorded as having 153bhp at 4, 200rpm post rebuild. To put that into context, it would have had 90bhp when new and its power-to-weight ratio is now more than the lightweight, competition focused 100S!
Thanks to fresh set of Blockley tyres it can put all that punchy power down and absolutely flies down the road.
A large history file and photographs document the restoration and engine rebuild and having been done nearly 20 years ago, just enough of the edges have been “knocked off” to allow this to be used as intended while still presenting beautifully.
