1967 Triumph TR4A IRS
An excellent example of a particularly beautiful iconic British sports car. Presented in probably the most desirable colour (Signal RED) with painted wire wheels and black trim.
This example was restored in the early 2000's with pictures to show all works completed. This included replacement door skins, rear wings and a full respray using cellulose paint. The respray is testament to its quality having survived the test of time!
Some time after the restoration work the vehicle was put into storage due to the owner being short on time to use the it sufficiently before deciding to sell it.
When we acquired the car we proceeded to do light recommissioning work which included the following: SU carb rebuild, new points, condenser, plugs, oil, leads, distributor cap and rotor arm, new chrome bumpers and over-riders, replacement fan shroud, new wooden dashboard, new diff mounting bushes, new trailing arm bushes.
All of this work has now transformed the car, not only making it more attractive aesthetically but has transformed the performance and handling too. Mechanically, structurally and aesthetically this vehicle is very good and ready to be thoroughly enjoyed by its next owner.
Not to be confused with tired vehicles in need of restoration work.
