The Appeal

The beautifully curvy S-Type represents the best of Jaguar's older saloons - innovating from its predecessors with independent rear suspension and a modernised cabin, while still maintaining its beautifully British milieu and palatial, old-money aesthetic that its discerning users had come to expect. Despite being based upon the MK2 and intended to fill a gap in the market, it completely exceeded the sum of its parts - and soon became a true icon.
