The Appeal
Alongside the Italian-designed Karmann Ghia, Osnabrück-based coachbuilders Karmann also produced convertible versions of the regular Type 1 Beetle. This 1303 LS is one of the later Karmann Cabriolets, based on the range-topping ‘Super Beetle’ platform.
As the photographs show, this Beetle has been restored to a very good standard. The colour combination is stunning and more sophisticated than the usual bright colours you see on these cars. We’re informed that the Beetle runs and drives very well indeed, ready to meet its next custodian.
