The Appeal
The Boxster was a step change for Porsche. The firm had tried to broaden its product range before, but it was this car, with its shared 911 DNA, that really made the difference.
The early cars like this got the more reliable 2.5L flat six with its stronger IMS bearing. That alone is a good reason to consider this example, but its appeal is far broader. Finished in stand-out Arenarot with upgraded black leather sports interior, it has had just one registered keeper from new and covered less than 44,500 miles in its 27 years.
Naturally, the condition is highly preserved and it checks out well in the usual areas you will want to inspect on these cars. There are a few cosmetic signs of use, but nothing that detracts from the overall impression of a sparingly used, well-cherished car.
The specification includes those upgraded seats, a versatile Tiptronic gearbox and carbon trim accents across the door, wheel, gear knob and dashboard.
With advisory-free MOT to November 2025 this is a great-looking car for summer road trips.
