The Appeal
When Paul Smith got together with the classic Mini, it was a match made in heaven. The Special Edition arrived at the heart of ‘cool Britannia’ and was a perfect celebration of crips British style.
Just 1,800 were built, with a small number going to Japan with improved specification, including automatic gearboxes and air conditioning. Those additions plus the nation’s salt-free roads and fastidious approach to maintenance puts those cars in high demand.
This Japanese-market Paul Smith returned to the UK in 2008 and still have just 56,000 miles on the clock. It is factory-correct and in very good order, retaining its original panels. The high specification includes full leather, working air conditioning and that relaxing auto box, perfect for city driving.
The car has been well maintained throughout its life and comes to market with a fresh service and large history file. The current MOT runs to January 2026 with no advisories. A great little car for city or suburban motoring - and a worthy show candidate too.
