The Appeal
The B2 Normande is a very rare early commercial vehicle, based on the Citroën B2 10HP passenger car. These mass-produced trucks revolutionised European industry, allowing goods to be moved by road at a great pace. It's unusual for vehicles of this nature to survive, making this superbly presented 1924 example a very special thing indeed. As a vehicle that has survived for over 100 years in working condition, it represents a remarkable opportunity for collectors of early French automobiles.
This Normande is reportedly presented in its original, unmodified state and is believed to have had just two previous registered keepers before the current keeper acquired it in 2014. Now being offered for sale due to the owner's advancing age, this represents a rare opportunity to acquire an authentic piece of early Citroën history, complete with its French Carte Grise de Collection.
