The Appeal
This beautiful A40 Pick Up is as effective at transporting you back to the 1950s as Dr Who’s time-travelling Tardis. Such is the quality of its £40,000 restoration, which was finished in 2022, that it looks like it just rolled off the production line.
It is likely considerably better than the day it did exactly that. For one, the dowdy grey original paintwork has made way for a vibrant red and black colour scheme, while inside, there is a retrimmed cabin. At the back is a large load deck trimmed in wood.
The work was undertaken by the seller, who has used it sparingly while displaying it in his showroom. Not surprisingly, it is in great condition as the photographs confirm.
This lovely old pick-up will appeal to commercial enthusiasts or has obvious scope for a classic-oriented business.
