It’s not too often you stumble upon a Triton (Triumph-Norton) motorcycle, especially such an exceptional example as this. Presented in a vibrant colour scheme and dripping is exquisitely finished paintwork, billet aluminium parts and well polished chrome work, this example wants for absolutely nothing and is finished to show standard, this Triton stands out from the crowd in many ways.

 

An award winning bike, this wonderful machine has been featured in Classic Bike Guide where it was highly praised and won the award of “Best Triton”. It also has documentation from the Vintage Motor Cycle Club confirming the age, and numbers of the Norton frame and Triumph engine. The V5 is present and has its correct age related registration, making it entitled to the silver on black number plate.

 

This stunning Triton really is a sight to behold, very clean and in award winning condition, this bike is truly exceptional. Presented in the “pea green and titanium” it is a very unusual bike, in that it is not often we see such a vibrant colour for frame, fork leg covers and rear shock absorbers, with a lovely metallic titanium grey finish on the tank and rear “hump”. The paintwork is all in sublime condition, and the detailing is superb, the bike’s cleanliness is on another level, with even such details as nuts and bolts being impeccably clean. 

A true masterpiece, the workmanship on this bike is second to none. And the bike would easily win awards if presented for shows again. It cannot be expressed enough the level of detail that has been achieved on this fine machine, please take the time to really examine the pictures in order to get a full and complete picture of just how good this bike really is. 

Mechanically this Triton is incredible, with not detail having been overlooked. The Amal GP carbs are in excellent condition, with no signs of warpage or signs of incorrect construction. On the engine, all cylinder fins are clean and straight, with none broken or missing, and all hardware is clean and free of signs of gouging or bad workmanship. The front and rear drum brakes are a sight to behold, again being stunningly clean, with not a detail missed, and everything in a stunning state.

The front drum brake is the lightweight vented type with the speed holes to the rear and large, mesh covered openings to the front, the mesh is in perfect condition. A wonderful detail is the exquisite billet foot controls, the rear set pegs and rear brake lever are a real sight to behold, and compliment the bike perfectly. The Norton frame and Roadholder forks are in amazing shape, and all brightwork is clean and well presented. A wonderful set of Tommaselli clip on bars really completes the setup. Overall, A bike that would be very very hard to fault, there are very few examples out there like this.

A truly stunning machine, words cannot do this bike justice and it has to be seen to be believed so please take the time to peruse the photographs in detail, to get a true sense of what an incredible example of a Triton there is. This is a very very rare opportunity to purchase a Triton, or any motorcycle for that matter, in this condition. Certainly, one of the finest Tritons in existence today.
