Following the considerable success of the TR2, Triumph's first proper post-war sports car, the same formula was followed to develop its replacement - the aptly named TR3. With improved brakes and considerably more power, the TR3 proved a very strong seller and frequent race winner.
Further advancements were made in 1957 and these later cars are unofficially referred to as TR3As. That's exactly what we have here, a 1960 TR3A fresh from a comprehensive restoration in 2014 since which a mere 5,000 km have been covered.
Having been part of a large collection in Poland since 2012, this TR3A has been cherished and preserved in remarkable condition. It remains in fine health, ready to offer its next owner the thrill of open-top motoring in a British sports car - an experience that's hard to beat.
