The Appeal
The British motor industry has taken a regular beating over the years. But then there’s the Moggy Minor, a car so simple, stylish, rugged and reliable that many remain in daily use with enthusiasts.
This 1964 2dr saloon would be a perfect candidate for just that. It comes to market with the added advantage of a long list of useful work by the current seller. He bought the car last year and has invested £1,000 in welding work, a new clutch, full service plus new offside and nearside trunions. The nearside pedal shaft and bushes have also been replaced.
The car had a colour change to black recorded in 2024. The paint isn’t the greatest, but this car doesn’t pretend to be a show queen. Its appeal lies in its factory standard look, all that recent work and its reliability. As a starter classic or distinctive daily, it’s got strong appeal.
The vendor says:
“It starts first time and runs really well, factory standard. Great to drive, it a lovely little run around.”
