The Appeal
With an Italianate design by Giovanni Michelotti, the Triumph Herald was undoubtably among the most stylish small British two-doors of the 1960s. This handsome Convertible is the 1100 model and this delightful car has undergone an enormous restoration to the tune of £24,000. The bodywork was stripped back to bare metal and refinished, while the interior has been replaced in its entirety and a new folding hood has been fitted.
As the photographs attest, the Herald is in superb condition and we're assured that is hasn't ventured out in wet weather since completion of the restoration.

"This car was originally bought in Jersey by an army officer who then transferred to the Isle of Wight, hence the different registration (have certificate of this). The person I bought from trained as a mechanic at the Triumph factory."
