The Appeal
The Volkswagen Beetle underwent some big changes for the 1968 model year. It saw the advent of the external fuel filler cap, double-jointed rear axle, Europa bumpers, collapsible steering column, upright headlamps and revised door handles.
This example is likely among the earliest right-hand drive Beetles with this specification, first registered on 13th November 1967.

"Owned by one lady through to 1994 It was stored in a garage for many years until the guys at Just Audi VW in Lincoln found it. With many years of experience in refurbishing classic cars alongside their day-to-day business, the Beetle was given a no-expense-spared, full nut-and-bolt rebuild."
"You might not find a prettier example of this much-loved vehicle. It starts first time and runs very smoothly. The lowered suspension is not to everyone's liking as it makes the ride bumpy, but that is easier rectified by dialling it back a notch or 2. If you are looking for a head turner, then this is the one."
