The Attractions

This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Italian motoring history. Based on the much-loved Fiat 850, the Fiat Moretti Sportiva was an attractive little sports car built by Moretti. Clad in sinuous, streamlined lines by Dany Brawand, the Sportiva was lively and full of character, elegant and fashionable.

Only 300 were built, and according to most sources only 30 remain. If this car's charming appearance didn't catch your attention, we have no doubt that these numbers did. This car is a true collector's item - a true rarity - and has been completely restored to its original splendour, with the original bodywork sandblasted and repainted to a very high standard.

It retains its original engine, overhauled and running, but also has another newly rebuilt engine with super-light aluminium pistons and increased displacement to 1,000 cm³. The chrome and Borrani spoke wheels with new Michelin AXS tyres have recently been redone, and the interior is in excellent condition, with the rare, original NARDI steering wheel.

Completely rebuilt braking system, including copper pipes, brake master cylinder and brake discs, as well as shock absorbers
The transmission was also completely restored, along with the exhaust
All the mechanics and chassis were restored like new by professionals
We are told that the car is in excellent mechanical condition
There have been no reports of leaks, smoke or unusual noises from the engine compartment
We have been informed that this incredibly rare car is ready and waiting to be driven
