1971 Norton Commando 750 S

Highlights

  • Eminently desirable model, highly coveted by enthusiasts as one of the most handsome classic street scramblers ever made
  • All numbers matching and correct
  • Fantastic overall condition, with beautiful paint and chromework
  • Running and riding exactly as it should according to the vendor

The Appeal

While its mechanical underpinnings dated back to the 1950s, the Norton Atlas successfully captured the zeitgeist of the early 1970s, with its street scrambler looks capitalizing on the popularity of desert racing. It’s regarded by enthusiasts as one of the best looking bikes of its era and while its pre-unit, pushrod twin may have been old-fashioned, the 750 cc engine provided ample performance to keep pace with many of its rivals from Japan.
We’re excited to present this devilishly handsome 1971 example. Resplendent in a vibrant metallic blue and adorned with lashings of chrome, this 750 S is quite the sight to behold. It remains in fantastic overall condition and the vendor assures us that it’s as good to ride as it is to look at, with no apparent faults.
For collectors seeking an amazing example that’s ready to go, you need look no further.
