The Appeal
There's just something about the C3 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that gets the juices flowing. It could be the muscular, killer shark inspired lines that make it look like it's cutting through the air even when parked. Or the always cool pop-up headlights. It may be the burly V8 under the “hood” with gobs of torque? Whatever the case, the C3 Corvette will always garner admiring looks and nods of approval the world over.
Somewhat epitomising the pointy aesthetic that was the norm at the time, the mid-seventies models were mechanically more refined than the brasher, early cars while still being fast enough for most and this matching numbers 1975 model, complete with 5.7-litre V8, looks the business in its striking white over tan colour scheme.
It's a low miler too having covered just 66,704 miles in the 50 years since it rolled out of the factory. Complete with all necessary documentation it's ready to hit the highway once more and the seller can even help with shipping so there's no need for borders to be a barrier.
