The Appeal
This 1976 Silver Shadow is a reminder of just how good the early, chrome-bumper cars are. It is an early ‘flared arch’ model, introduced from 1974, and finished in smart Caribbean Blue metallic with dark blue leather interior. The condition inside and out is impressive.
The history file is equally so and dates back to the car’s earliest days. It confirms the low mileage of 76,000 miles. Recent work has included a full service, brake overhaul and renovating the a/c system, which we are told now runs ‘ice cold.’ There are also four new tyres, and the cabin veneers have been thoroughly refurbished.
Stately and statesmanlike, this is a really fine example and one that we are told ‘drives exceptionally.’
