THE APPEAL
Presented in 1976 as a replacement for the successful 850T van, the Fiat 900T retained its floorpan and much of the bodywork, introducing a new front design, with an irresistibly attractive vintage appearance, and adopting the 903 cc, 35 cv engine from the Fiat 127.
Just 3.8 meters long, the 900T is incredibly versatile and roomy for its small size and was sold in 11 different variants including the beloved Panorama, a seven-seater minibus with large glass surfaces and additional windows in the rear which continued the long and glorious tradition of the Turin company, which began with the 600 Multipla and continued with the 850 Familiare, of offering tiny and practical minibuses.
Adopted by the police and the army, used as an ambulance and in countless other ways, the 900T was for many years an important protagonist of Italian daily life and a familiar presence in large cities, where its compactness made it a precious work companion, and in historic towns, where it was capable of navigating through narrow streets with agility.
This 900T Panorama, with only three owners from new and a particularly low original mileage, has had only one owner for most of its life and has then passed into the hands of an enthusiast who overhauled the mechanics and started the restoration of the bodywork, which was recently completed by the seller.
- The overhauled rear-engine, on which new piston rings have been mounted, is in very good condition, with correct compression.
- The electrical system has been completely redone.
- The brakes, clutch and steering system have been serviced and are in excellent condition.
- The tyres are almost new, only used for a few test drives.
- The bodywork has been completely restored and repainted in the original colours and does not present any damage or defect.
- The interior has been repainted in the original colour, and the metal structure of the seats has been restored and repainted.
- All gaskets are new.
The seats have been reupholstered with period-correct materials.
Both outside and inside, this minibus is in remarkable condition and, thanks also to the original license plates, has retained an appearance of absolute authenticity.
Nice, practical and of great historical interest, the Fiat 900T, especially in the Panorama version, particularly enjoyable for the great brightness of the passenger compartment allowed by its large glass surfaces and for its extreme versatility, always proves to be extremely attractive and popular at gatherings.
Born to work, the Fiat 900Ts that have remained in good condition are rare and sought-after for their pleasantly vintage aesthetics, for the great ease of maintenance ensured by the robust and widespread Fiat mechanics and for their extreme practicality.

This 900T Panorama remained for most of its life with its first owner, who jealously preserved it and used it sparingly, covering most of the just 65,000 kilometers that this van has traveled in almost fifty years.
The second owner overhauled the mechanics and started the restoration of the bodywork, completed with care and passion by the seller, who bought it in 2021.
The car has always been kept in a good state of mechanical efficiency and was last MOTd in 2022.
Still equipped with its rare original plates, it will be delivered with its updated original registration documents.

SUMMARY
Somehow similar in mechanical design and aesthetics to the venerated Volkswagen minibuses, the Fiat 900T offers a very similar driving experience and an even higher level of practicality.
The Panorama version, with a particularly pleasant passenger compartment and extremely versatile, being able to transport up to seven passengers or bulky loads thanks to the folding seats, is a vintage car of great interest.
Starting from the solid base of a one-owner vehicle, always well maintained and with an extremely low mileage, this 900T Panorama has received loving care and a total restoration to an excellent standard and is presented in beautiful condition, with a pleasant two-tone bodywork, a welcoming interior and scrupulously overhauled mechanics.
