The Appeal
Say hello to ‘Frankie', a particularly appealing Type 2 because it features lots of recent work, some light cosmetic upgrades and useful features that make it ideal for longer trips.
It is an original UK market RHD Type 2. The smart green and white colour scheme and practical Van Wurks interior were fitted by the previous keeper around 10 years ago. Sparing use means it remains very well kept, with usual Type 2 bodywork check areas presenting well and the tan interior in great order. It is well-fitted with an array of cabinets, rock and roll bed, fridge, cook, sink and modern electrics.
The vendor has owned the van since 2020 and reports that it has been serviced annually and subject to recent improvements including a fuel pump and ignition coil. The 1.6L air cooled engine is said to run very well with a strong, smooth gearbox.
The van comes to market with a recent service and in great order. We are told that there are no issues to address, meaning the buyer can enjoy it in the sun straight away.
